Your brakes are the most important safety system on the car. If you hear squealing or grinding, or the pedal feels different, get them checked. A brake check is free with us, and you get a fixed price before we replace anything.
We only replace what is worn. If the discs are still within the manufacturer’s limits, we reuse them.
Questions about brakes
How do I know if my brakes need replacing?
Typical signs are a squealing or grinding noise, the car pulling to one side, or a soft pedal. Many cars also have a warning light for worn pads.
Do the discs always need replacing with the pads?
No. We measure the discs, and if they are within the manufacturer's limits they can be reused. Often they are replaced every second time the pads are.
How often should brake fluid be changed?
Most manufacturers recommend every two years. Brake fluid absorbs moisture, which lowers its boiling point and braking performance.
