How can I tell the clutch is worn?
The engine revs rise without the car accelerating to match, especially in high gears. The clutch may also bite high on the pedal or smell burnt.
Does the flywheel always need replacing too?
Not always. Many newer cars have a dual-mass flywheel that wears along with the clutch. We measure it and tell you before ordering parts.
